Clarence was a topographer by trade and an active, valued member of his community. During a period marked by uncertainty and unrest, he served as a steadying, calming presence on the court. His composure, fairness, and consistency earned him the respect of both players and coaches.
Clarence was a proud recipient of the Gold Whistle Award and represented the KBOA at Boys State in 1982, 1984, and 1985. Following his officiating career, he continued to give back to the association by serving as an Observer for Rip, offering guidance and support to the next generation of officials.
His professionalism and character left a lasting impact on the KBOA.
